Childbirth Support and Education
- Laura Lund is a Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor, a doula and a childbirth educator in Provo, UT. I have attended some of her classes and investigated her methods and can highly recommend her. Laura is not currently attending births professionally. She provides childbirth education classes in her home. My wife and I wholeheartedly agree with the principles she teaches. You will find her website full of helpful advice and birthing resources.
- A doula is a woman professionally trained to provide constant, one-on-one support to birthing women and their partners. Mothers Birth is more than just childbirth education classes, though Heather does provide those. Heather is a doula who will prepare you to have the birth experience that you want, and then she will be with you to see it happen. She was the doula my wife and I used for our most recent daughter. Chiropractic Support Supplies - Patients
often want to know where they can get some of the cool supports,
braces, and tools that I have in my office. We are lucky to have a
supplier here in the valley. The Relax the Back store on University
Parkway sells many of the therapeutic devices that can be used at home to
support the treatment you receive at my office. You can go other
places, but I went to check these guys out and was able to talk to
Brandon the Assistant Manager. He was very knowledgeable, due to his
experiences with chronic back pain. He has tried most of the things
out himself and is a good resource to know when dealing with back
issues. Their website has some good information, but I'd recommend actually stopping by their
store at 256 East University Parkway in Orem, or give them a call at

Auto Body Shop - Dynamic Collision Repair was recommended to me by a friend, and I never looked into it because I didn't need my car worked on. It wasn't until recently that I actually met Brandon, the office manager, that I decided to check it out. I went to their shop to check it out. The staff was very friendly, and the facility was nice. Although I didn't have my vehicle worked on there, and I hope I never need to. They have come highly recommended to me. So please, go check them out and give me some more feedback. Children's Portraits - If you're looking for a good place to get your kids portraits I'd recommend Kiddie Kandids.
I went into their shop in University Mall and was impressed. The
photographers were all very nice, and they got the kids to smile
without being pushy and they didn't try to rush the kids or the
parents. The staff was happy to let me walk around and were all very
willing to answer any questions that I had. The portraits that I saw
came out great, and they were available for preview very quickly. I
can't recommend every Kiddie Kandids, but the one I checked out in

Therapeutic Beds - MyComfort intelli-gel beds. They
are located on the southwest side of University Mall. I spoke with
Jace Birchall. He was very helpful. Next time you're at University Mall check out his beds. You can also visit the My Comfort Website.
So many patients ask me what kind of bed I recommend, that I decided to find out. I looked into many beds, and what I've found is that most of them focus on comfort rather than support. Any of the high end beds are going to be better for you than the cheap innerspring mattresses, but the intelligel beds that I examined provided both comfort and proper structural support at a good price. I highly recommend them.
Web Hosting - Blue Sun Hosting hosts this site. Jonathan Duncan gave me a great deal, was personable, and willing to work with me. That may just be because he's my brother, but his website lists other sites he hosts and it is quite an impressive list, check it out for yourself.
Wedding Photographer - Creativ Productions run by Joseph Newman is a quality photography company. It's not like hiring your uncle Ned to take pictures at your wedding. These people do a great job, and it's not just weddings. You can see some samples of their work at their website.
